Commercial Description:
A blend of German vienna malt and English crystal malts create this malty and slightly fruity beer. Sweet caramel flavors give way to a surprisingly soft and smooth finish.

Cask, GBBF 08. Red brown with no head. Aromas are vinous berries with floral notes and soft spices. Slightly salty. Flavours are fruity with caramel malts and a dry finish. OK.

Cask@GBBF2008. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, hops and wooden + vanillaish notes. Flavour is sour wood, vanilla and that’s about it. A bit watery.

Cask at GBBF 08. Russet colour with thin beige head. Nice grapefruit aroma. Not too much intensity in the mouth for a 6.8% beer. OK, a bit like a bitter really. Bit watery in mouth.

12/19/07 notes: flavor that hits you is crisp, slightly tangy. Smooth red body throughout. Mild Finish, above average amber.

Bottle: I wasn’t impressed all the hype was misleading. It was ok but very watery and not much flavor.
