Commercial Description:
A blend of German vienna malt and English crystal malts create this malty and slightly fruity beer. Sweet caramel flavors give way to a surprisingly soft and smooth finish.

Scored this 12oz bottle as an extra in a trade. Pours a translucent, copper, red with a thin, ringing white head. Aroma is sweet, nutty, metallic. sweet cookie dough. Flavor is sweet, caramel, nuts, bread dough, cookies, crackers, some fall fruits. Finish is dry. Sessionable for sure.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 07/08/2009 Fruity aroma. Amber red coloured a little rich and sweet on the palate with some dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Dark nut brown color, not much head. Nutty and kandy sugar aroma. Light caramelly flavor with some nutty hops. Some wood also in the aftertaste. Quite brown ale like.

Clear and glassy cherry red. Thin and watery appearance. It is attractive, however. No head, no carbonation. The aroma is roasted and nutty amber malt. Mild flowery hop presence. Caramel and toffee. Some pungent toffee in the taste, with more of that caramel malts. A nice heavy and dark flavor. Akin to a brown ale. Feels thick and chewy. Has a dry German-style bite on the way down. It’s a really solid, roasted, toffee-inflected brew.

12oz bottle from an Opa-Opa mix pack. Remembered this one from awhile back. Was not that impressed with any of the particular beers in the mix pack. They were all just OK as I remember.

Bottle Pours a clear amber with a thin off white head. The head leaves rather quickly. Lacing is alright. Has a light malt aroma with hints of stale water. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is simple and sweet. There is no complexity to it. Has a light body. A watery texture. The finish is soft at best. Has an aftertaste but nothing rememberable. Its an okay beer but not real special.
