| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Candied fruitiness and calculated earthy roastiness linger well into the finish in this clean and drinkable Porter.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam stands atop the burgundy-laced black.
-The maltiness is well extracted, as in most Opa-Opa beers.
-Some coffee flavors add complexity to the roasted maltiness.
-The fruitiness recalls cherries at times.
-This is not a memorable Porter by any means, but it is quite efficient nonetheless.

Average aroma and flavor of coacoa and roasted malt. The body is light while the carbonation is soft. Even for a porter, it lacks intensity. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
