My Bottom Line:
Candied fruitiness and calculated earthy roastiness linger well into the finish in this clean and drinkable Porter.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam stands atop the burgundy-laced black.
-The maltiness is well extracted, as in most Opa-Opa beers.
-Some coffee flavors add complexity to the roasted maltiness.
-The fruitiness recalls cherries at times.
-This is not a memorable Porter by any means, but it is quite efficient nonetheless.

On tap at the brewpub.

Pours a black color with brown highlights and a thin beige head. Average aroma and flavor of coacoa and roasted malt. The body is light while the carbonation is soft. Even for a porter, it lacks intensity.

Robe noire claire surmontée d’une mince mousse beige crémeuse. Arômes de caramel. Saveurs de caramel, de torréfié et de céréales.

Pretty normal porter. A little thin for my likes and a bit too much molasses for my taste. Good dark brown color and nicely long lasting white head.
