Commercial Description:
It's a dark wheat beer brewed from English malt, English yeast as well as English and American hops. which probably makes this beer more like an American wheat beer than a dark weissbier. We however feel that this is a nice beer both to compliment food and as a social drink.

Sampled from draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2005.
Dark amber colored, foamy light tan head. Sweet fruity and candied sodapopish aroma with honey notes. A bit cloying. Sweet malt, fruit and chocolate flavor, somewhat artificial with lemonade characters. Ordinary.

Tasted a sample at a beer tasting event on The Rover on January 14, 2006. Dark color, nice hoppy scent and taste. A bit of wheat in it, especially the scent that reminds a bit of a German weiss bier.

Bottled. Clear dark amber colour. Buttery, dark-ish nose. Very smooth body. Caramelly backbone. No sign of wheat in this one. Not even close to a dunkelweizen.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A red beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet, but also slightly acidic with hints of berries. The flavor is also sweet with hints of acidity with strong notes of berries and lesser notes of malt and honey, but no detectable wheat. The end is dry.
