Commercial Description:

Serving date: 2009-03-04. Served in half-pint glass. Golden orange, very pale and clear. Big, white and uneven head that settles after a while. Some lacings. Very reminiscent of a pale lager. Pleasant smell of plenty of soft hop notes (citric aromas), earth, sweet malt. Very refreshing. In the mouth, there’s caramel malt at first. Then plenty of hops: lemon peel, grapefruits, ripe apples, floral notes, resins. Some herbs, and a taste of tonic water. For a while, a bready maltiness and butterscotch take over. The finish is somewhat dry and surprisingly bitter, has some floral hop notes and metallic maltiness. Not a very pleasant finish actually as the bitterness dominates to much. Plenty of carbonation and a surprisingly light body. Again, the beer is close to lager territory. An ok beer, rather refreshing and very easy to drink. The smell is way better than the taste though. Would have liked bolder hop flavors. Serving type: bottle (Copy of old Beer Advocate review)

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are dominated by bitter hops, citrus and malt, A bit one dimensional, but has a nice bitter finish.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops, brew mash, malt, caramel, and dust. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hop juice - making it almost chewy, earth, hay, and some citrus. The finish is bitter with notes of hops and hay lingering. Not my favorit hop mixture. Thanks fiulijn for this treat.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Gnoff) - Amber with a small head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit, tea and pineapple. Bitter and hoppy taste with hints of grapefruit and caramel followed by a bitter, hoppy and slightly fruity finish. Extremely enjoyable.

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget i Kiruna. Gylden farge. Stort kremaktig skum. Kraftig fruktig aroma: Appelsin i forgrunnen. Smaken i samme retning. Glir over i en tørr, fruktig bitterhet som varer lenge. Godt!
