Bottle. [thank you, Hildigöltur]
[vintage 2005]
Pours deep amber with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma is oxidized, caramel, some spices and light funk. Lowish carbonation, fat mouthfeel. Flavour is mildly ozidized at first, light yeasty, some oranges, caramel, pepper and nutmeg notes. Old, but still drinkable. A fine chocolate grainy note becomes apparent as it warms up a bit.

A murky dark oragne beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is quite powerful and sweet with notes of caramel and yeast - very Belgian. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of peaches, over ripe fruits, prunes, and yeast, as well as light notes of coriander.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange-brown with a small creamy white head. The aroma is predominately yeasty bread and full-on caramel sweetness. Some pear fruitiness as well but it’s mostly the former. The palate is extremely bready and the flavour is leaning towards sweetness. Sampled at the Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation on May 28, 2006.
