Commercial Description:
When you make a pot of coffee, but only use half the water, you get some pretty rich coffee. That’s the approach we took with our latest offering. OBP Squared, with half the water, has 11% alcohol by volume - twice that of original OBP.
The result is a bold, distinct taste of its own. Made with twice as much real orange blossom honey, all-natural ingredients and no refined sugar, it really is the new king bee of beers.

Bottle from I think Kramer. I had no idea this was 11%, I figured it’d just be a pils. It is pretty horrid. Super sweet honey aroma, buckwheat, little complexity. Sweet, acrid, simply nasty flavor, just awful. I can’t drink this.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing! Pours a clear amber with a small bubbly white head. Sharp and sweet aroma, of candied orange peels, booze honey, and malt. Taste is sweet and boozy, a lot of honey, with malt and citrus. Lingering sweet honey flavors. Decent.

12oz bonus from beerlando, 11% woah, guess I’m getting drunk tonight. Pours orange with a tan head and a lot of carbonation. sweet honey nose. Taste is sweet and visquos and very sharp, ie pretty hot. Ok this is interested, but not amazing.

12oz bottle from Sam’s, Durham. Dark orange body with minimal carbonation. Aroma of sharp booze and overripe fruit. Mouthfeel is slick and syrupy, with prickly carb and some serious heat. The flavor is indistinctly sweet, not much of either orange or honey to my taste, but more like Slurpee syrup with a kick. Probably won’t be finishing this one.

Poured a clear golden copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet orange, orange pith and honey make up the aroma. Alchol notes follow. The flavor was a mix of alcohol pepper and honey. Malty middle. It has a finish of alcohol taste. The finish lasts a long time. Too long for such a bad taste. Very warming.

Bottle pours a clear copper color with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with lots of malt characteristics, orange blossom honey, and some pine and floral hops. Flavor is also very sweet, but with much less of the malt flavor coming through. Lasting sweet/syrupy aftertaste with a touch of bitterness and warming from the high alcohol content.

Copper pour. Aroma is honey, malt and some orange notes. Flavor is sweet and full of honey and malt. Much better than the original, but not all that amazing.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark copper body with a small frothy white head that ran to a thin ring. The nose is pretty sweet with lots of honey and orange rinds. The flavor starts out real sweet with nice real honey flavor, but fades to a weird artificial Tang-like finish. A good bit of residual sugars but not overly cloying or sticky. Amazingly well hidden alcohol really. Mouthfeel is full bodied without being sticky with soft gentle carbonation. Interesting to say the least, it wasn’t the best but it was drinkable.
