Commercial Description:
When you make a pot of coffee, but only use half the water, you get some pretty rich coffee. That’s the approach we took with our latest offering. OBP Squared, with half the water, has 11% alcohol by volume - twice that of original OBP.
The result is a bold, distinct taste of its own. Made with twice as much real orange blossom honey, all-natural ingredients and no refined sugar, it really is the new king bee of beers.

12-oz bottle. Pours clear orange with a spare, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of orange blossom honey, brown paper sacks, and light vegetables. Medium bodied, spicy texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

12oz bottle from GodofThunder pors medium orange with a light off white head. Floral aroma with a bit of orange peel. Medium body with alot of syrupy flavor. Some orange flavor and a bit of herbal bitterness. Alcohol burn at the back end. Might be a drain pour.

From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Not much orange flavor, but plenty of alcohol burn.

Bottle received as a bonus from Beerlando (Thanks!). Pour was a vibrant burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma was orange, herbal and a little alcohol. Flavor was a rich, syrupy and very sweet. Orange/honey flavor was very alcoholic and not very well balanced. Might give this one another chance if I could get it on tap somewhere.

Bottle. Nose of honey, light citrus, alcohol. Golden color with no head. Flavor is honey and orange as you would expect and not much else. Pretty boring and a thinner mouthfeel than you would expect. I didn’t come close to finishing the bottle. I feel like Kimjohannsen. next!

Pour is a buttery copper, with an aroma of orange rubbing alcohol. Aftertaste is like biting into an orange rind. Bitter and soapy. Blah.

Bottle thanks to hopscotch, I really enjoyed this one! Pours with a large, fluffy, off-white head and a chill hazed orange-gold body. Good lacing and very decent retention. Aroma of cardboard, graham cracker, earthy hops, honey and some orange zest zing. Taste is sweet with honey and malt and some fragrant orange. Not bad. Well hidden alcohol, lively bubbles, which work very well with the character of the beer, and a dry finish.

Bottle. Potent honey sweet aroma. Golden body, off-white head. Flavor is an assertive blend of malts, honey, and alcohol. Very flavorful, though perhaps not as balanced as one would like.
