Commercial Description:
When you make a pot of coffee, but only use half the water, you get some pretty rich coffee. That’s the approach we took with our latest offering. OBP Squared, with half the water, has 11% alcohol by volume - twice that of original OBP.
The result is a bold, distinct taste of its own. Made with twice as much real orange blossom honey, all-natural ingredients and no refined sugar, it really is the new king bee of beers.

Bottle. Pours a light amber with a beige head. Aromas are of oranges and sweetness. Flavor is heavy on oranges and sweet dark honey with an orange peel finish (that is a little on the bitter/chalky side.) Not very interesting other than the sweet orange flavor (which is still pretty subtle.)

Pours a translucent copper orange with a creamy offwhite head. The aroma is very sweet floral honey, earthy orange blossom, interesting. Not much else going on. The flavor is very similar very apparent honey flavor. Doesnt have much else going on. Palate shows much sweetness and some warmth.

Clear dark gold pour with a fizzy thin white head. Honey and spice on the nose. Thick mouth-feel. Very sweet flavor; I definitely detect a bit of apricot on the finish. Big warming sensation here

This is ridiculous. Golden honey color. Completely clear. Almost no head. Very strong honey presence in the nose. Some obvious alcohol too. The flavor is VERY sweet with what seems like tons of honey. Later it gives way to some apricot. Alcohol presence is very strong at the end. It’s not bad but it’s tough to finish.

Bottle... Clear, brilliant golden/orange lager with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is spicy, earthy and sweet; offering peppery and earthy hops along with gobs of orange blossom honey. Full-bodied with dancing carbonation. Sweet, medicinal flavor also puts forth a high degree of acetaldehyde. Crisp, dry finish that leaves a medicinal, green apple essence in my mouth.

Woof this thing is sweet. Big honeyed nose and then a huge honey sweet flavor, slightly tangy, with the typical acetone notes you can get from lesser meads. Light in carbonation, thick and heavy in mouthfeel. Orange color with a brief head.

12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear deep orange color with a thick and frothy white, one finger head. Good retention and some glass lacing. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, nuts, honey, some spice. Flavor is sweet and smooth with stronger floral and citrusy notes, maple syrup, honey, candy sugar. Medium body with a syrupy mouthfeel. Smooth, sweet finish.

Bottle from dchmela - thanks! Grainy orange nose with a little sour funk and stale coriander, edging wild grass and spaghetti-funk I notice in many Kellerbiere. Honey is faint at best. Dark orange, but still clear, pour with a soapy off-white head. Taste is sugary-sweet with a fat middle, honey/candy aftertaste, and light chemical syrup. Lightish body considering the big abv, which, though somewhat muted, still dominates everything but the highest-pitched citrus at the top. Touch of maple syrup, and though I thought I found figs for a moment, I’ve decided that was the honey. Gently warmign and not boozy. Not bad for what it is!
