Poured a deeper golden color with a smaller sized hite head. Aromas of honey comb, orange peels, and some grassiness. Tastes of honey, citrus, and orange peels. I generally do not care for honey beers, but this one was a nice surprise. Alchohol well hidden. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Bottle... Clear, brilliant golden/orange lager with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is spicy, earthy and sweet; offering peppery and earthy hops along with gobs of orange blossom honey. Full-bodied with dancing carbonation. Sweet, medicinal flavor also puts forth a high degree of acetaldehyde. Crisp, dry finish that leaves a medicinal, green apple essence in my mouth. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
