Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, film head. Aroma is sweet malty, some wet dog. Overall, not much aroma. Super-high carbonation, very watery - carbonated water, anyone? Flavour has some weak malts and a touch (only a slight one) of flowery hops at the end. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

Anyway aroma, mmm a bit sweet with some maltyness going on, good start, as this warms grassy hops kick in too. Taste is also reasonably sweet with a dry finish, not to dry though, remarcably exceptable lager we have here that seems to be everywhere. Plesent suprise. imdownthepub (5178), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Typical biscuity malty pale lager produced in Britain, thin on the pallate apart from masses of gas, no follow through flavours or hops. Won’t try again. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England

A golden coloured lager with a grassy aroma with washing up liquid notes. The taste is sweet and sickly. Not particularly nice although not a typically English attempt at a lager. cgarvieuk (4214), Edinburgh, Scotland

Crisp, hoppy aroma. Crisp, passion fruit burst in the middle; slight chemical finish. I was surprised at how pleasant this tasted. London Xmas Crawl. [2.5]
Oct, 2005. Keg, White Hart, Cuxton - a Shep’s pub. Side by side with Hurliman this came off very badly. There was a lack of distinct flavour. The malt was murky and the hops were a vague nonsense. [1.9] HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Draught. At The Bloomsbury Tavern, Shaftesbury Road, London. Oh WHY do I order stuff lke this? Very pale gold, clear, with a small fast-diminishing fizzy white head. Dry, funky (not in any good way) stale aroma, sort of sweet. Dry, stale wheat aroma, less funk than the nose, just some harsh dead bitterness. Somewhat harsh on the palate, sharply carbonated, stale harsh aftertaste. Not very good; cheap, in fact.
