Commercial Description:
This Special Cider has been fermented in stainless steel, and then matured in Whiskey barrels for a further 18 months, to create a Naturally Dry Cider , with mouthfuls of flavour, a slight hint of whiskey on the nose, and light on the flavour - ideal with a piece a cheese after dinner (this is not a long drink).

Bottle bought from the producer at Bristol Slow Food market. Stated ABV is now 7.1% and whisky barrels are being used. Golden in colour and slightly hazy. Slightly tart aroma of apples, the barnyard and oak. Flavour was dry, with an earthy edge, juicy apples and a smooth hint of whisky in the finish. Very good.

[Bottle from CiderStore.com] Aroma of ripe apples, slightly peaty, spicey. Full bodied, dry and earthy with a leafy, peppery finish like rocket leaves.
