Commercial Description:
Another monastic recipe developed by Bernardine monks. If you notice slight rose aroma, it is because we used red rose petals. Enjoy with all your deserts, especially brownies & pies. 2009 Gold medal Governer’s Cup & best of Class Medal Winner.

Sampled @ Autumn Wine Festival-Salisbury Md-Rose/Amber colored pour w/a sweet aroma. Had a bit of a sweet floral flavor to it, w/a little touch of a brandy/sweet liquor. Had quite a kick to it, not sure of the ABV (thought they were in the handout I got; they weren’t) but I’m guessing it’s pretty high. Great before/after dinner aperitif, this was very good.
