Good grapefruit hoppiness in aroma and taste, and solid IPA-bitter aftertaste. Malts are sufficient to prevent imbalance. PBOYNY (316), Westchester, New York, USA

smooth and has a good malt base to it.
well hopped but understated compared to other craft IPAs.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 14, 2002 Citrusy, buttery, yeasty aroma. Nice cloudy orange colour. The flavour is malty and buttery at first, followed by a spritzy citrus taste. Not the hop explosion that I had expected, but a nice mellow well balanced IPA that still has a quenching hoppiness. Smooth, colorful, tasty... A great IPA. Bitter, but not overpowering. Fine hops.
