This was quite yummy, but alot of their beers tends to taste the same in the malt character, so it is sometimes hard to distinguish. Nice almost peanut butter flavor, lots of nutty caramel flavors, with just a littl ehint of smokiness. Nice and easy to drink.

Brought home from the brewpub in a nifty half-gallon jug. Very attractive mahogany brown beer with large light tan head. the aroma is mostly of lightly toasted malts, very fresh too. Very nice creamy, toffeeish malty taste, slight touch of smoke and hop bitterness near the end. Very nice on the palte, very smooth. Another well made beer from Oregon Trader..I liked this one a lot, it was very similar to Scottish ales drank in Scotland.
