This was so damn tasty! POurs very deep and dark brown, with a nice little off white creamy head, that fades into a creamy ring and eventually leaves an interseting lacing design on the glass. This is perfectly roasted, with creamy milk chocolate, some burnt coffee and espresso, peanuts and oatmeal. Alchohol is masked very well by the flavors even when it warms. Nice!

Very dark brown with a light tan head. Very big rich roast coffee aroma with some burnt smells and a bit of alcohol showing. Lots of hops to help the big chocolate and coffee sweetness up front. Very smooth with a heavy body. This thing will age very nicely.

This is one of the definitive IMPERIAL stouts - dark and rich. Coffee, Chocolate and deep malt with an abundance of Hop to offset. Thick and rich and ... well you know the rest. Head is lacey and leaves a remarkable trail down the glass. It is clearly a BIG BEER at 9.5% (Not 11 as noted earlier) The only Imperial Stout that compares would be Old Rasputin - and then it I would lean towars RIOS - On nitro - served in a pint glass.

Way on the thin side, watered down, and doesn't taste as powerful as the 11% they say it is. It's strange, it's such a big beer, but I wouldn't have known if they didn't come out and say it.
