Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England May 11, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. Lovely gold colour with a very slight haze, excellent white head and fantastic condition. Aroma is full of almost Czech like hops with some sweetish malt way in the background. The sweet malt comes further to the front in the flavour. Good hops and bitterness. A straight down the line cask lager but it knocks any InBev rubbish into a cocked hat.
fonefan (4045), Ulfborg, Denmark Jun 25, 2008 Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008. Clear medium yellow color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. More of a golden ale, but definitely not an ale yeast. bit of plastic/plasticine. I’ve had worse.
