Commercial Description:
This dark porter's rich malt characteristics go neck & neck with its dry hop finish. Truly, a beer that goes the distance.

On draft at the brewpub in Saratoga. Served under nitrogen, an absolutely beatiful pint. Very nice porter, the best beer these guys make.

Had this one on draught at the brewery in Saratoga Springs, New York. Deep, deep thick black color, thick head that dissipated slowly, mild nose of coffee, rich bitter flavor. A textbook porter.

I don't feel like being clever at the moment. And a "3" doesn't call for it. Very dark, reasonably lasting off-white head, roasty coffee aroma with hints of hazelnut-chocolate, body disappointingly thin but a nice pillowy vanilla creme character helps salvage this beer from the absolute mediocrity of its brewery-mates. If you need to get a puppy from this place, pick the black one.

Dark brown to black body with a medium thick tan head. Slightly sweet and smokey aroma with a hoppy undertone. Sweet smokey malt flavor with a coffee background. Full bodied and slightly dry.
