Rich pear aromatics, though bordering on jolly rancher sweetness. Mildly sweet and tart Bosch pear flavor, fairly authentic. Certainly more drinkable and balanced than expected for the style. Not bad.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear very pale yellow with just hints of a white head at the edges. Smells spot on for Del Monte canned pears in syrup, especially the syrup. Thin and watery. Tastes like water that someone somewhere maybe once had a pear near. Finishes tasting essentially like nothing, with just a faint touch of sweetness. The kind of thing that were the glass and bottle in front of me, I might forget that I had just consumed it. Very, very forgettable. jstraw (774), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Not overly sweet as so many are. Little tart on the back end so you don’t get tired of drinking it.
