Medium sized, toasted marshmellow colored head. Liquid is very dark. Aroma of coffe and cookie dough. Boy I might have to say that this is the best Non-Russian Stout that I have had. Super smooth and soft mouth feel. Flavor is not overly bitter. Dry finish. I could drink a lot of these in a Pub somewhere.

Looks nicer than it smells or tastes. Very dark. Full, light brown head. The aroma was light with a little roasted coffee and some earthy/ tomato plant smell. Taste was metalic with some tomato and a little malt. Very thin body for a stout. Unimpressive.

OK I just love the Orkney Breweries pint bottles..great shape and classy label. With Viking longship prow. This is a beautiful beer to behold very solid black..with a great coffee and creme coloured head..very attractive. Smell also is good..very strong hints of chocolate , roasted malts..fresh despite it being all the way here in Oregon. The taste is rather weird though,,but in a good way..very woody, salty..on top of dark chocolate I wonder if they used the same process for growing the barley Heather Brews used for "Kelpie"? MOuthfeel while comfortable..ios too thin for a great stout. Overall a good drinkable stout..nice for the low alcohol.

Dark brown appearance with a thick tan head. Roasted malt aroma with an earthy edge. Medium-bodied flavor heightened by the taste of coffee. Pleasantly bitter, dry finish.

The aroma is an oily mixture of vegetables, grains and old coffee. Flavor is a very pale and light chocolate, with a creamy note towards the end. Not much happening here.

Dry with chocolate/roasty flavours, a hint of sour. However, have to agree with many others here that this was a bit too watery to really make a big impact.

Not a heavy hitter in the ABV department, but a very tasty and enjoyable stout. Smooth creamy flavor.

Black color; brown, creamy, generous head. Very nice aroma: coffee, roasted malt, bread. Quite good body, a bit too dry. Thank Jens (Ungstrup).
