Poured a deep black with a dense, thick brown-tan head. Big frothy lacing. Nose of big robust chocolate coffee syrup. Peaty, nutty and super robust. Thick salty nutty, mildly bitter, and chalky flavor. Pretty damn smooth!

poured a dark color w/ cascading look a large thick tan head good sticky lacing. Smelled fairly mild for a stout roasted malts light carmel and a hint of vanilla. Palate is over carbonated and overly thin. Flavor is very bland and weak a roasty almost smoked malt and not much else at all. Overall nothing special.

Nice dark black color with a decent head that stuck around longer than I expected. Aromas of roasted malts and some chocolate. Touches of dried fruit. Flavors fell off a bit. Somewhat watery with some dust and metal. Still nicely roasty. Less chocolate, but touches of coffee. Still pretty decent.

Dark brown to black in color with a tan colored head. Smells of roasted malts, cider vineagar, and coffee. Taste is a weak coffee flavor also with some roastiness, watery, and malts.

Dark, with a pretty head, coffee-colored and very creamy. Smells a bit chocolatey, some hops, but pretty restrained. Flavor is roasty, plenty of burnt wood, little bit of chocolate. Decently creamy.

Bottle. Pours an almost black hue of ruby with a nice tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate with some earthy notes and just a bit of hops. The flavor is nutty at first and fades to roastiness with a saccharine finish. The flavor is quite weak because of the wateriness, which gives the whole thing an artificial feel. This almost seems like stout-flavored Kool-Aid. Disappointing.
