Poured black, tan head. Quite a bit of maltyness, some nice roasted notes. There wasn’t a large pallet with this one, but the earthy roast coffee is adequate. Clean finish and very drinkable. I thought this was pretty standard. The unusually low abv doesn’t mean it can not be good. I don’t know if some reviewers here were expecting an Imperial, it is not as bad as some on here say. There is someone who thinks that a tan head on a dark beer is bad? huh?

Dark brown with a huge lasting but coarse chocolate head. The aroma is quite poor, some chocolate, very little roasted, some earthy hop. Watery, root bitter, useless.

Black with a nice head. Aroma is from chocolate, creamy and a little fruity. Fruity flavor with toffe and some cocoa. Nice mouthfeel and a mild and pleasant finish.

Bottle. Pours very dark with a light brown head. This is a pretty weak stout. Fairly bland, very low abv, light thin mouthfeel. Flavor wasn’t bad though, with some roasted malt and coffee. Pretty watery though.

Dark-roasted malt aroma. Black with off-white large head. Flavour is malt, vinegar, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Thin body. Finishes plastic. A disappointment.

Amazingly smooth. Smokiness and roasted tastes soothe the palate. The best overall stout I’ve experienced with a low alcohol content to boot--- the more to enjoy. Only gets better with the quantity. Highly recommended for the ’go-to’ stout!

Bottle. Black pour. Very clear and opaque. Malty taste but a bit watery. Almost a creamy texture. Very smooth finish.
