Dark, with a pretty head, coffee-colored and very creamy. Smells a bit chocolatey, some hops, but pretty restrained. Flavor is roasty, plenty of burnt wood, little bit of chocolate. Decently creamy.

Dark opaque with golden hightlights on the pour. Tall dark khaki head. Dark roasted aroma of toast and bread. Blackberry and coffee come out when the aromas are studied. Dry with a burnt bitter finish. Roasted barley lingers after the moderatly sour finish. A little thin on the mouthfeel, but not distracting.

Dark brown appearance with a thick tan head. Roasted malt aroma with an earthy edge. Medium-bodied flavor heightened by the taste of coffee. Pleasantly bitter, dry finish.
