Dark opaque with golden hightlights on the pour. Tall dark khaki head. Dark roasted aroma of toast and bread. Blackberry and coffee come out when the aromas are studied. Dry with a burnt bitter finish. Roasted barley lingers after the moderatly sour finish. A little thin on the mouthfeel, but not distracting.

Chocolate, candy sugar, toffee nose - very intense. Medium big rocky hazelnutbrown head on the black liquid. Bitter espresso taste, goes by fast, slightly bitter finsish, suprisingly thin body.

This beer poured a very dark amber, almost black color and formed a huge dark tan foamy head that coated the glass with lace as it very slowly subsided. Almost a float like appearance to it. An aroma of malt and burnt chocolate and coffee. A flavor of malt and coffee. A slightly burnt aspect to the finish, but not in a bad way, and a little lighter than I thought it would be.

Nice tasty stout. Slight head. Roasted chocolate and smokiness on the nose. Great creamy mouthfeel with relaxed malty flavors. Assertive hoppiness kicks in and then vanishes leaving a nice warm finish.

16.9 ounce bottle in pint glass. Black with dense light brown head and some lace. Chocolate syrup, coffee, and chocolate chip cookie aroma. Roasted chocolate flavor with clean medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. A nice sessionable stout.

500mL bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black (not opaque). Aroma is moderately malty (chocolate/cocoa, caramel, roasted grain), lightly hoppy (resin), with light notes of vanilla, cassis, milk, hint of smoke/ash/peat. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation. A bit too tart for my liking, but it has an interesting and pleasant aroma.
