Pours a deep brown color with hints of red at the edges, and a nice tane head. The aroma was subtle...smokey and mild roasted coffee tones. The flavor was subtle as well with some coffee tones and a mild bitterness. the finish is quick and crisp. Decent feel...sometimes a little thin. Not bad...just average.

A pitch black beer with a beutiful huge chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of chocolate. The flavor is slightly sour combined with bitter chocolate - it ends on a good bitterness. A nice dry stout.

Nice-looking stout, with a lush, light tan head with some big bubbles around the sides of the glass AND a very, very dark reddish brown body. Ashy, cocoa, roasted malt aroma. The flavor is similar except a heavy dose of smokiness is evident here as well. A pretty weak stout overall, not much uniqueness in general. I imagine, with its low alcohol content, that this is more of a beer to enjoy with a heavy dinner, rather than an after-dinner enjoyment brew. This is just OK for me.

Black body with a good size, lasting, tan head. Coffee and roasted notes on the aroma. Similar in the taste, light enough in body and alcohol to drink plenty of these.

(Bottle 50 cl) Not entirely black, this has a reddish tint. Very light and dry but not really bitter. Lovely aromatic and slightly smoked. A fresh easy-to-drink beer. 060305

From bottle. Aroma of sweet berries, part liquorice and smoked oak. Black colour with a decent off white head. good texture, smoked hops and chocolate malt. A little more strength would have been great.

Bought it for the bottle alone; wasn’t disappointed with the overall experience. Has a little bit of a watered-down coffee taste. Not one of my favorites, but I would drink it again.
