The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate as well as light notes of roasted grain. The flavor has strong notes of chocolate and some roasted notes, leading to an extremely dry and roasted end. The mouthfeel is flat but very smooth. Sigmund (2284), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Roasty aroma, hints of dark chocolate. Flavour is decidedly roasty with coffee notes, quite dry. Not very complex, but beats Guinness any day! Hendo (110), Sint Anthonis, Netherlands

Dry and bitter with not that much body. Not that easy drinking for a 4% beer. Not much sign of chocolate/malt etc... imdownthepub (5143), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Dark brown to black beer with a whisp of a tan head. Initially a little sweet and fruity, though somewhat thin the beer then gives a dry bitter finish. Hoppy at the end, the chocolate malt is somewhat restrained. DJMonarch (6845), Northwich, Cheshire, England
