Nov 4, 2007 Bottled (thanks cgarvieuk). Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, grassy ops and some mild sweetness. Flavour is grassy hops, saltwater and a big hayish peak.

Pale golden color, very small white head. Nose is nutty hoppy, light notes of oak, vanilla and aromatic hops. Light, almost watery, pale malty with yeast flavors and vague apricot hints. Must be a lot of better in the cask. Now bland.

Aug 15, 2007 Bottle, Many thanks to Craig aka Cgarvieuk for picking this up for me Poured golden with huge white fluffy head, aroma sweetish bit of vanilla maybe. Tasted quite sweet but also reasonable hoppy, overall a nice beer and very quaffable but a little bit limited.

Jan 13, 2007 Any first impressions?
-Ample foam sticks to the top of the clear straw blond.
-Crackers and dry straw dangle under the nostrils.
-Flavor profile is quite dry, juggling straw and biscuity malts with gentle citrus fruit.
-The frothy carbonation is definitely not trying to emulate the cask serving at all.
-The crisp maltiness isn’t too frail considering its gravity.
What if you dig deeper?
-Cereal sweetness agrees with the citrusy tones.
-The finish is very dry, with discreet supporting hops.
-The overall result is a kind hop-malt equilibrium.
-This is a refreshing, well-brewed golden ale, but in the end it feels rather inconsequential.

Jun 16, 2006 Bottle. Golden beer with a light white head. The aroma is quite dry with a certain roasted nature, the flavour is quite grassy, heavily dry and bitter with a touch of smokiness. Overall a poorish beer.

May 17, 2006 A good looking golden beer, nice white head lasting well! A well hopped brew, fruity with a slight sweetness. A gentle bitterness fills the mouth after a few seconds and lingers. Well balanced, clean and flavoursome, adequate strengthwise ( this bottle is 3.8%) and allows several bottles to be quaffed without major illeffects.
