Golden with some suspended particles. Short head. Scent of sweet oranges and summer fruit. Thin. Quite bitter but this doesn’t last, slight dry finish. In the mouth there are berry fruits and some sourness, then I was hit by an odd vinegary sweetness which spoilt it.

Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 28 Sep 06. Yellowish coloured. Unclear. No head. Aroma of wet paint with fruity hints. Quite dull.

Cloudy, pale yellow body. Short lived foam. Mix of citrus and malty aroma. Fresh juicy fruit flavour (orange and mandarin) with hints of grain. Light, but well rounded (Half on gravity at The 11th St Albans Beer Festival, 28.09.2006)

CAsk conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Slightly peachy fruit aromas combined with toffeeish malts and butter. All together makes a deserty (peach betty?) sort of feel which I didnt like too much.

Cask Conditioned @ The ’Freshie’ Formby. Golden in colour. Malt dominates with an undertone of hops. Not a lot of body with little aftertaste. Not one of Orkney’s best

Iv yet to figure out why they have changed this so there is now a cask vertion aswell as a bottled? Aroma is hoppy and clean. Taste is reasonably balamnced but edging towards hops but a little uninspiring.
