Light looking ale with a well hopped aroma for such a low alcohol beer, and a hopped and dry flavour. Great for a 3.8% beer.

Served on Hand Pump from the Cast at The Vat & Fiddle in Nottingham. A very pale beer, particularly bitter in taste, also quite hoppy & dry. Very moreish

Dark gold with a white head. Nice refreshing hoppy fruity nose. Fresh grainy start with a decent hoppy finish. Decent golden ale.

Scotland 05. Golden with a delicious head and a nice fruity/flowery and malty aroma. The flavour has a light honey sweetness and nice notes of fruit, flower and malt. It’s uncomplicated, quenching and refreshing, og it has a lot of flavour in spite of the only 3.8% - neat!

Yet another lager coloured refreshing summer ale - not a style normally associated with Scottish breweries, but they have done a pretty reasonable job. Well hopped, but more fruity than bitter. Not too complex, but pleasant easy drinking. Handpump, Crosse Keys, City of London, July 2003.

Cask@GBBF2007. Yellow colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is herbs, hoppy fruits and some vegetables. Flavour is very wooden, hoppy (flowery and fruity) along with grass and slight burnt notes. Leaves a nice wooden and flowery flavour in the aftertaste.
