Poured a clear golden brown with a dense, frothy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. A spicy hop aroma with strong notes of aniseed and grass clippings with some English marmalade, biscuity malts, lemon zest and light notes of butterscotch. Flavor was similar to aroma with a good spicy/grassy hop bitterness with zesty marmalade, aniseed, subtle fruitiness (red berries) and a grassy/resiny finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry resiny mouthfeel and a good finish. Highly sessionable, great stuff! Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England
