Big offwhite head. Coppery body. Floral peas and caramel aroma with roasty malt notes. Very harmonic and balanced. Sweetish-dry floral pea taste with resiny grassy notes. Surprisingly hop-dominated compared to the aroma. Mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry floral grassy herbal aftertaste, kind of salty. Excellent session beer. (0.5l bottle from Centra.)

Bottle (in NZ). pours a hazy gold with a large pillowy off-white head. Big fruit and pepper hop aroma. More malty on the palate - with toffee flavours. The fruit and hops are more subtle, though the finish is quite dry and citrusy. How I like my bitter.

Bottle (500ml). Poured a clear golden brown with a dense, frothy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. A spicy hop aroma with strong notes of aniseed and grass clippings with some English marmalade, biscuity malts, lemon zest and light notes of butterscotch. Flavor was similar to aroma with a good spicy/grassy hop bitterness with zesty marmalade, aniseed, subtle fruitiness (red berries) and a grassy/resiny finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry resiny mouthfeel and a good finish. Highly sessionable, great stuff!
