Bottle courtesy of DownsouthGav. Amber colour with thin head. Honey, fruity, citrus, spicy aroma. Taste is syrupy, roast malts, bready. Finish is lasting with a nice hoppyness.

Bottle. Cream, hops, caramel, vanilla nd cinimmon. Pours an orange beer. taste is dry, bitter, with some lime, mineral elements. There’s also some sweetness in and malt in the finish. Really drinkable - ’grown ups’ bitter.

Reddish golden with a moderate, but lasting head. The aroma is fruity with a touch of lime. The mouthfeel is nice and the flavour has both sweetness, acidity and notes of malt and fruit, and in the finish good notes of roasted malt as a nice detail. There is no bitterness, well a little in the finish. The overall impression is a bit ordinary, but it’s a stunning label.

Amber with a white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Burnt breadcrust flavour, slightly oily in the palate. Long bitter finish.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from the Bottle Stop.
Lovely clean amber gold colour with a very good thick white head. Lovely condition. Malty aroma with fruit and bread and a slight nutty note. Flavour is more of the same but tasty, clean and very chugable. Long nutty and bitter hop finish. Very dry making it really morish. Plenty of body for what it is and a fair bit of character too. Nice.

Bottled. A light amber coloured beer witha big off-white lasting head. The aroma is oaty, toasty, malty and smoky. The taste is more of the same with some biscuity notes and some hops. Seems a pretty authentic Olde Scottish beer.

500 ml bottle, bought at Peckham’s, Glasgow. ABV is 3.8%. Amber colour, large off-white head, leaves a nice lacing. Malty aroma with notes of caramel, some fruit too. The flavour has a decent balance between malts and hops, notes of toffee and moderate fruit, hoppy finish. Quite good.

Bottle bought in Glasgow. A most lovely copper ale with a large head. Lots of hoppiness, grass and flowers. A great session ale, I have to try this on cask at some stage. Get this if you can. Nice label, too!
