Bottle - Poured a red brown color with thick tan head. Taste was definitely earthy and smokey and I really enjoyed that in a bitter. Becoming more fond of the style in general.

Pours a reddish amber with a small off white head. The aroma is lightly malty. The flavor is lighlty roasted with a bit of earthiness.

I got strong metallic and peaty/earthy taste off this one. I overchiled it, and it did improve as it warmed up. Not one of my favourites (although i did want to like it as i am scottish!!)

Wonderful amber bitter. Almost peated as it comes off smoky with a generous hop presence. Backs up a bit as you finish the glass, but I’ll not let that dim the quality of the overall pour.

I really like this, but wasn’t what i thought it would be. Seemed like a croos over betwen a scottish ale and an ESB. There stil was a slight earthy smoke flavor to and not overly hopped. very drinkable

Poured from a bottle, splitting with a friend. Felt this beer had a nice malty flavor. Was a brown color, not too dark but not light. This was a very drinkable beer.
