| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep copper color, minimal head with some lacing. Flavor is nice, soft roasted malts, hints of smoked malt and caramel. Slightly bitter towards the end with just the right flowery hop finish. Medium bodied and smooth, this is good and would make for an outstanding session ale. A nice surprise. douglas88 (1605), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

I said, "No, man, it’s not the weather that’s trippy, perhaps it is the way that we perceive it that is indeed trippy." Then I thought, "Man, I should’ve just said, ’Yeah.’ DigitalMan (118), Idaho, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Clean, mild hop aroma. For a 4% beer, the dark red color is surprising and very nice. Good lacing, too. This is the type of "hoppy" beer I like. Reminds a bit of Anchor Steam in that regard. Nice fizz in the mouthfeel. Really liking this. l1br4r14n (286), Washington, Washington DC, USA
