Bottle. Pours a deep copper color, minimal head with some lacing. Flavor is nice, soft roasted malts, hints of smoked malt and caramel. Slightly bitter towards the end with just the right flowery hop finish. Medium bodied and smooth, this is good and would make for an outstanding session ale. A nice surprise.

500 ml bottle bought at the Boise co-op. Pours a bright reddish amber color with a large white head and loads of lacing. The aroma is very hoppy; sweet spicy notes, some rich caramel also. The flavor is very nice; sweet earthy hops, some rich caramel, bitter in the finish. Very earthy and quite spicy/bitter. Very nice.

500 ml bottle from my friend in Aberdeen! Clear dark cherry red with a big beige, lightly lacing head. Nose is very heavy with caramel, nuts, and light floral hops.Flavor is lightly bitter with an oatmeal granola note to go with the caramel. Would be a great session beer.

Pours amber brown with a smallish off white head. Aroma is caramel and dark fruits. Flavor is caramel malts with a little roastiness and nuttiness, and a tiny bit of fruity hop. Not bad.

My friend said to me, "I think the weather’s trippy." I said, "No, man, it’s not the weather that’s trippy, perhaps it is the way that we perceive it that is indeed trippy." Then I thought, "Man, I should’ve just said, ’Yeah.’

Clean, mild hop aroma. For a 4% beer, the dark red color is surprising and very nice. Good lacing, too. This is the type of "hoppy" beer I like. Reminds a bit of Anchor Steam in that regard. Nice fizz in the mouthfeel. Really liking this.

Huge aroma of floral hops, a little sour. Pours ruddy brown with a thin off-white head. Flavor is flowers, grass and lots of hops - but very little bitterness.
