Jul 21, 2009 Pours amber brown with a smallish off white head. Aroma is caramel and dark fruits. Flavor is caramel malts with a little roastiness and nuttiness, and a tiny bit of fruity hop. Not bad.

Jun 7, 2009 Clean, mild hop aroma. For a 4% beer, the dark red color is surprising and very nice. Good lacing, too. This is the type of "hoppy" beer I like. Reminds a bit of Anchor Steam in that regard. Nice fizz in the mouthfeel. Really liking this.

Jun 4, 2009 Huge aroma of floral hops, a little sour. Pours ruddy brown with a thin off-white head. Flavor is flowers, grass and lots of hops - but very little bitterness.

Reddish brown beer, off-white head. Fruity bitter, some spices, bitter finish. Respectable bottled bitter, but the retail price here is too high!

Apr 10, 2009 50 cl bottle at home - bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Brown/copper color, fine beige head. Aroma is hoppy fruit and caramel malt. Flavor is fruity, with a touch of anis and other spices, fine sweetness and some hops. A bit thin body.

Apr 9, 2009 500 ml bottle from Meny Liertoppen. Mostly lasting two-finger dense beige foamy head. Clear, ruby-brown colored body. Nice smell of fresh fruity and floral hops up front, backed by a dry caramellish malt scent. Taste is dry malty with a sourish accent. Lightly toasted and slight peppery with an underlying earthy and peaty bitterness. Filling. Dry, almost astringent mouthfeel. Bitterness from malts and hops lingers in the finish. A very nice one.
