Not to much carb... nice dark color. Slightly watery vanilla malty flavor with. the is a a very weak woody lingering taste too. The weak carb stays on your tongue a little while along with the flavor. Good stuff.

Beautiful dark brown pour with a touch of red. Nice solid tan head and good lacing. Solid malt flavor with a touch of sour bitterness in the back of the throat.

A brown amber body with a big tan soapy head that resembles moon craters. Sweet caramel malt aroma. A nice bit of hop nicely balances the malt. It has notes of biscuit and molasses. Bitterness is moderate. One of those beers that makes one long for a Scottish pub.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a dense off-white head. Hoppy and light wineous to woody aroma. Dry hops flavour. Light liqourice bite, mild woody note and light fruity into the finish. Light roasted malt into the far finish.

Bottle. Gorgeous pour. Deep red with luscious head. Stunning lattice-work looks like the Alhambra. Nice bright herbal hop in the aroma. Subtle, clean, crisp like a forest in fall. Slight berry tartness. Flavors also include hints of berry. Solid bittering hops. Finishes with raspberry. Not my favorite of the Orkneys but solid, clean, and good.

Bottle. [Courtesy of BelJohansen, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear amber colour. Aroma of fruit, ash, grain, hoppy, floral, citrus. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter and balanced sweet flavour. Dry and bitter ash and hoppy like finish.
