Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 8, 2003 A red beer with a beutiful head. The nose is primarily malty sweet. The flavor is also malty sweet from a good malty blend. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 30, 2005 Bottled. Copper colour, rich, lasting head. Some grassy hops along with peat up front. Light-medium bodied with rich, buttery, peaty malt flavour. Medium bitterness. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 16, 2005 Updated: Jul 3, 2005(Bottle 50 cl) A beer that doesn’t promise too much - this is red indeed. Beautiful reddish brown, filtered with a small and vaguely light brown head. Very soft, almost sweetish with pronounced malty notes and a very limited bitterness. Some smoke in there too. Nice. 040904 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 6, 2002 Well, I’ll mention the peat flavour. It’s there, in Lowland quantities mind you. Otherwise, bright auburn; aroma like a dense forest of Douglas fir, meat pie and Auchentoshan; a little thin & metallic though (has it gone off a bit?); earthy malts, touch of toasted caramel. Finishes to quickly. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a dense off-white head. Hoppy and light wineous to woody aroma. Dry hops flavour. Light liqourice bite, mild woody note and light fruity into the finish. Light roasted malt into the far finish.
