Orkney White Christmas

Cask from Bon Accord. Light brown with persistant white head. Spicy aroma - clove and cinnamon evident, with a bit of peachy hop, biscuity malt. Good solid mouthfeel. Finishes a little sweet. A good Christmas ale.

Aroma seems a little sulphur to me, however thought this is some great lightly spicey malt characteristics and maybe some smoke too. Taste is maybe not as full as expected, but sweetish and malty, with soem dryish hops towards the end.

This was a surprise, and great. I know it souunds weird, I was doubting that it was a beer, but then I say the crow in the frostman ’s cap, and got one. It was creamy and a little sweet, but the foam is great and the backtaste is really like Orkney beers, definitely.
