Aug 12, 2008 Bottle (500ml). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Hazy, deep amber - large fluffy long-lasting head. Annoying sour/herbal vegetal aroma - there’s bitterness here, but nothing I want to smell longer than I have to. The taste is dry, dead, stale and bitter - not quite as vegetal as the aroma, but still not good - reminded me of crushed tomato plants - not good at all. Average body, quite astringent, but when it leaves a lingering coating of weed cocktail on your palate, who cares? WTF is this stuff! If you have no clue what an IPA is, why bother trying?

Aug 11, 2008 My bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus. Pours a hazy orange-brown with an average size diminishing off-white head. Aroma’s mild, a little vegetal and with a touch of tomato paste, light hops and sweet malt. Flavour: Well, there’s some bitterness in the finish, but an IPA? Not really, maybe a Pale Ale. Medium bodied. Not very good.

Jul 29, 2008 Blankboys bottle - shared with Paul and HogTownHarry. App: Pretty beer, ruby red, tiny floaties. Arom: Creamy - malty, slight hop. Flavour: Nice,malty and bitter IPA, somewhat unusual but enjoyable.

Jun 11, 2008 A dark orangey amber IPA with a thick off white head. Floral hops in aroma, restrained and classy, a bit of citrus. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, light chocolate notes, nuts, floral hops. Very nicely built.
