Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA May 16, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark brown with tan head. The aroma has biscuity doughiness to go along with a nice load of burnt malts and almost a sense of coffee. The taste is roasted malts and quickly becomes burnt and charred. By midway it thins out a tad and roasted malt astringency murmurs to the surface along with a nice tasty layer of chocolate. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 3, 2009 on tap-pours a light brown head and brown color. Aroma is medium malt-chocolate/caramel. Taste is ashy/chocolate-thin medium malt. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Apr 27, 2009 Tap @ brewery
Not sure if this one was an actual porter, it did taste like a stout.
Pours black, white beige head.
Aroma, for a beer such as box of chocolate, I was hoping for a chocolate bomb, and the chocolate was just hard to find. Add some malts, roast.
Taste malts, good amount of roast, light bitter chocolate that remains just very faint , but where is all the rest of the chocolate? finish is light, dry and crisp with some faint coffee/roast.
