| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours orange-ish brown with full opaque haze and tiny white head. The aroma is hoppy like the standard one I’ve tried but really does nothing more than add a bit of green leaf vegetableness to the nose followed by a sense of malts underneath. The tastes starts with some hoppiness up front from spiciness, mild earthiness and just noticeable floral notes mixing with a layer of malty sweetness. Pretty tasty brew really. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2009 on tap-pours a thin light tan head with some lacing and amber color with some particles that settle. Aroma is pine/some citrus-orange hops, some malt. Taste is herbal/some pine/pungeant hops, medium malt-husky/peat/caramel. Finishes thin. Doesn’t quite work for me. Minimum carbonation.
