aroma of citric hops and foreign plastic note. flavor is of sweet citrus, possibly pineapple. extremely odd savory note that reminds me of beans (?) comes to light also. seems somehow linked to plastic note from nose. bitterness really lingers on the sides of the tongue. this beer is unfiltered but pours a nearly completely translucent amber. shows sure signs of infection but intense hop aroma makes it drinkable yet.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours orange-ish brown with full opaque haze and tiny white head. The aroma is hoppy like the standard one I’ve tried but really does nothing more than add a bit of green leaf vegetableness to the nose followed by a sense of malts underneath. The tastes starts with some hoppiness up front from spiciness, mild earthiness and just noticeable floral notes mixing with a layer of malty sweetness. Pretty tasty brew really.

on tap-pours a thin light tan head with some lacing and amber color with some particles that settle. Aroma is pine/some citrus-orange hops, some malt. Taste is herbal/some pine/pungeant hops, medium malt-husky/peat/caramel. Finishes thin. Doesn’t quite work for me. Minimum carbonation.
