A very standard hefe-weizen. Pours a cloudy yellow, thin white head. Slight banana but not much and a nice spiciness that all there beers actually seem to have. Just a very easy drinkable summertime beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep gold with tan-ish sand tones and white head. The aroma is grainy, a bit of biscuit and doughiness. I also get a sense of citrus – lemon like notes as well. The taste is pretty full with grains then moving into brief biscuit and dough notes before mild amounts of bubble gum and banana come to the surface. It ends dry and refreshing.

Draft... Hazy, straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is very restrained – even with a vigorous swirl, I couldn’t pick up much – but I was able to pull some yeasty, bready notes along with a touch of lemon peel. Medium-bodied and creamy with pillow-soft carbonation. The flavor is all about sweet bread and sugar cookie. Sweet, candy, bready finish. Not even remotely brewed to style; that said, I kind of liked this one.

Not bad, not bad. It does pour a cloudy yellow color and the aroma is slightly citrusy with spice hints. The taste is not as carbonated and not wonderful but I got wood, banana, clove, and lemon from it. The finish was slightly sweet and it is dirt cheap at happy hour. Wouldn’t go out of my way, but it was not a bad beer.
