| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Bright amber. Hardly any aroma - vague caramel is about it. Nice, balanced flavour. It’s juicy with citrusy, slightly woody hops. The malts are earthy and caramelly. It’s got a nice caramel finish. jcwattsrugger (5578), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 10, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is faint funky, yeast. Taste is initial malt overtaken by bitter hops. OK beer. OK carbonation. Had these (this one and others) at the brewery, something amiss. 2.9-.3 aroma. 2.6 hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2007 Draft... Clear light amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Spicy, herbal hops and caramel nose. The flavor is moderately sweet caramel and medium bitter hops. Full-bodied and creamy with restrained carbonation. Moderately bitter, herbal, dry finish. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a translucent golden amber with a smaller cream/lacing off white head. Aroma of caramel, some sweet malts, fresh hops, toffee and butterscotch. Flavor was a mix of the same, nice and dry, hoppy and flavorful. SledgeJr (2983), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 27, 2004 On tap at the Cricketeer’s Arms in The Mercado. This was served like a real ale! Proper temperature and pulled from a hand engine. I could not find out if it was indeed cask conditioned. Pricey for a pint in Orlando at $5.50. Pours a golden orange with a slight chill haze. Low in carbonation, nearly flat (as it should be). Delicious hop flavor and aroma. Smooth palate and drinks quick. This is a titan in a beer wasteland. Abandon your rugrats with the Mouse and spend your vacation here guzzling this gem. DuffMan (2774), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2008 GABF 2008. Light amber brown. I’m no hop professor, but I’m not detecting the usual earthy/dried-leaves Fuggleness I’d expect. The hops are here in good balance with the caramel malt, but there is a spicy herbal quality to them that is intriguing. My only criticism is that the beer is quite thin, almost watery.
