shawnm213 (841), South Bend, Indiana, USA Sep 19, 2009 meh. fuck this. some pale shit. a fucking joke. Brew better beer. I’ve been spoiled lately. This had some bread and feces notes. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA May 16, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear deep gold with off white head and some sheet lacing. The aroma is mostly citrusy grapefruit hops and a sense of sweet malts. The taste has an initial modest malty pulse. Soon after grapefruit enters the picture and takes this to closure with the help of some grainy malts. Pretty nice stuff. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA May 5, 2009 12 oz bottle. Medium amber color, off white creamy head. Aroma of a good ole American (dry hopped) Pale Ale. A very nice, calming (hop) oily nose. Resiny with a touch of new car smell. Flavor is light. Nice malt profile. Creamy texture. Simple grain character. Followed by a spicy hop finish. Noble bitterness? Interesting. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Apr 27, 2009 Tap @ brewery
pours copper, white head.
Aroma is hoppy, floral, light fruit presence, and light malts.
Taste, floral hops, some fruits with grapefruit citrus presence and malt to balance it out.
mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Mar 3, 2009 Part of sample tray at the brewery. Was more impressed with the place than the beer. Average Pale Ale rbrazell (57), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Feb 19, 2009 Pours amber gold with small white head. Light body with hops, malt, citrus and honey. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Feb 17, 2009 Golden-amber colour. Bright. Somewhat earthy aroma with a hint of woody hop. Slight citrus on the palate, bright but mellow. Light malts back it up.
Unfiltered Bright golden-amber. The aroma is a little bigger here. It’s much chewier, richer, especially for the style. Good dry finish. 6-4-7-3-14 = 3.4 Beershine (2677), Hue, Vietnam Feb 15, 2009 Sample @ brewery taproom. Sampled both the filtered and the unfiltered. Entered ratings reflect filtered version. Filtered Version:Bright medium gold. Balanced aroma leads toward fruitiness and also malty with bready character. Clean, soft mouthfeel. Juicy body is sweet but nice. Solid, even if too sweet for my taste.Unfiltered Version: Warm, bright, dark golden with fruity, yeasty aroma. Juicy body, crisp finish and nice character even if not hoppy. 7-4-7-3-13
