Commercial Description:
An All-American beer. American organic grown malts, zesty American grown hops and the American ale yeast clearly identify this beer as homegrown. Refreshingly hoppy, pale yet tan and complex maltiness epitomize what this pale ale has brought to the American beer culture. Crisp, clean, sassy and complex, American ale at it finest.

bottle @ jax. very gold color. head settled quickly. nose of sweet malt and grassy hops. goes down pretty smooth, but could be smoother. malty taste with hints of copper throughout. very slight hint of bittering hops in aftertaste. nothing too special here, as it’s kinda boring and could use more flavors. would be a decent session beer however.

Growler for New Years. Pours amber color with minimal head. Nice hoppy aroma and a little hint of the malt. Touch of sweet malt, light body, hops and light carbonation. Thin palate. Nice easy drinking beer for a long night of partying.

Pours out a clear golden brown. Hoppy with complex malt. Sweet finish. Very drink-able beer. Great stapel American pale ale.

Draft... Clear, golden/amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of warm, spent, pale mash with beefy, earthy notes and a touch of caramel. Decently balanced flavor leans just a hair on the sweet side. Medium sweet caramel; moderately bitter grapefruit rind with a rumor of acidity. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crisp, lightly bitter finish.

Sampled at the taproom. Golden pour, some hints of rust throughout. Medium sized white head, decent lacing. Aroma is comprised of honey, malts, floral hops and some grassy notes. Doesn’t smell bad. Taste is pretty similar, hops and malts dominant. Could stand being a bit more hoppy, but honestly it’s not bad. Medium bodied, oily palate. Finish is medium length and spicy, then sweet. Their second best beer by a good margin, but still just pretty average in the grand scheme.

Draft at Fiddler’s Green. Pours a clear, medium golden body with high carbonation. Large, foamy white head with decent retention. Sheet lacing. The aroma is fairly standard, showing pale caramel malts, lightly toasted grains and mild floral hops. The flavor falls along those same lines, with a fairly good amount of balance. The medium body added to what was actually a pretty smooth, easy drinking beer. Better than I was expecting, but lacking originality. A little boring, but quite drinkable.

Draft. Pours transparent golden with a soapy white head. Subtle aroma of malts and a bit of herbal hops. Smooth, watery taste that is nicely balanced. Minor hop flavor and some bitterness. Pretty mediocre but smooth and easy to drink.
