I hope nobody minds this placeholder rating for the purposes of the DD Top Ten list. l’ve got a real rating somewhere, and l’ll enter it one of these days, but for now l hope it’s enough to say that this is one of my very favorite beers ever.

Nov 27, 2009 330 ml bottle - date of 2-2-08; clear, bright orange with frothy white head lingering; huge nose of floral spice, lemon zest, bananas and pears; delightfully soft texture with nice bretty zing; nothing here is overly aggressive, though you can feel the strength of the brew going down; mild fruit, some brett, full bodied; touch of tart with pears, peach and pineapple; more spice in the nose fir sure; a unique, delicate and subtle brew; very nice and one I should buy more of

Nov 27, 2009 bottle - Before all the tomatoes start heading in my direction I tried this beer 3 times before rating thinking it was just me. I just can’t bring myself to really like this beer. The appearance and aroma promise great things, lots of bready spice and citrus notes, but the flavor really killed my expectations, way too bitter (for my taste). In my opinion way overrated, but since I’m a neophyte at rating I’ll try again in the future.

Nov 26, 2009 Has a nice brown pour with minimal foam around the rim of the glass. The aroma is that of dried fruit and spice. Somewhat carbonated, it could have just been a bad bottle, but still enjoyable. The taste is sweet and a little tangy.

Nov 25, 2009 Bottle from the Eastchase Majestic. Opaque orange pour. Dry citrus aroma with bread. Tart, fruity flavor. Aftertaste lingers. Tingling mouthfeel.

Nov 25, 2009 Bottle, 33cl, from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. BB 20.07.2014 (probably consumed way too young!). 6.9% ABV. Hazy copper/amber colour. Big, long-lasting head. Complex aroma, dry but also some sweetness, herbal, some unripe fruit, apple/banana. Fizzy carbonation, slick texture. Taste is initially a bit sweet with well-balanced malt, yeast and hop elements, then an almost geuze-like dryness takes over. Long-lasting bitter ending.

Nov 23, 2009 Hoppy, slightly sour nose. A nice hoppy flavour and a lot of bubbles. Nice bitter and full aftertaste.
