Jun 29, 2009 Pours a golden color with an average head. The aroma is wonderful for a pale, piney citrus, & a little fruity. In fact I love smelling this beer. Taste is a great balance of malt & hops with the bitterness kicking in the end. Very high IBU for a pale & as hoppy as a pale ale can get.

Jun 27, 2009 On tap at Barleys Taproom in Greenville, SC. Dark orange in color with a thin white head. Strong hop aroma of pine and citrus. Flavor is great balance of malt and hops. Slightly fruity, with some citrus. Hoppy and moderate bitterness. This isn’t as strong as IPA or DIPA, but it’s not supposed to be. This is just a damn good, balanced, and flavorful Pale Ale that I wish I could drink on a regular basis back home.

Jun 25, 2009 12 oz can. Deep orange in color with an off white thick head. Big floral hop aroma with hints of citrus, pine, and caramel. The flavor is pretty much the perfect balance of sweet malt and bitter hops. This beer is medium bodied and has an active carbonation and a soft mouth feel. I love to see great beers being canned, the portability of cans are great, especially in the summer. Overall this beer is about as good as a Pale Ale can get in my opinion,

Jun 23, 2009 From a 12 oz. can at Coasters (but poured into a glass, of course). Dark orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, grass, and light pineapple. The aroma does fade quickly, however. Bitter, grapefruit hop aroma. It is still a pale ale and doesn’t pack the punch that I really like from an IPA. But as far as a pale ale goes they don’t get much better.

Jun 20, 2009 Pours mostly clear orange, frothy beige head. Molasses and pine aroma, seems very thick. Taste is a great combination of rish toasted malt and bold hops. Very well balanced and finishes nicely.
