Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Not the first thing to amaze me by Oskar Blues, but it still amazes me to taste something so good come out of a can. Pours a hazy golden with a mild foamy white head. Nice hoppy aroma with a touch of malt. Medium body with a nice balance of sweet malts and citrus hops finished by a nice hoppy bite. This is what I’m taking pool side

I heard a lot about this beer from numerous sites around the Web, so I decided to give an entire case of 12oz cans a try. This is definitely one of the more solid APAs I’ve found, especially more recently. This pale ale pours a semi-cloudy golden color with an average-sized white head. The head left a generous amount of lacing around the glass. The nose features a big hop presence, along with notes of caramel, bread, grass, earth and wood. The body is medium in strength, but extremely smooth and drinkable. The flavors consist of a big hop profile, but is balanced nicely with a solid caramel malt backbone. The body also features a huge amount of grapefruit and pine. The finish is quite bitter and a little dry. It also features a little fruity flavor, as well as some grapefruit and pine. Overall, this is a very nicely done and delicious APA. I’m glad I have an entire case of this to enjoy!

12oz can. Semi-opaque orange/amber pour with a big beige head. Sweet malt aroma with some floral hops and notes of bread. Sweet and bready malt flavor up front with a bitter hop finish.

Thanks to Homerwants beer for sharing a couple cans. This brew is an orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and citrus along with a touch of malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, fresh citrus and clean malt. The finish is moderately bitter hops that linger for awhile atop a decent malt base. A good straightforward APA overall.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy, orangish brown with a small, white head. Sweet malt, a touch of pine, honey, and an odor I just can’t quite place in the nose. Medium carbonation with a medium-rich mouthfeel. Sweet malt, honey, caramel, pine, and a touch of resin on the palate. Good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Medium-short finish with some lingering bitterness. Overall an excellent pale ale that isn’t over hopped.

Nice surprise from Lyons. Worth exploring further. Although prefer the Pils.

Probably one of my favorite pale ales. Great sweet tart of hop and malt balance. Almost orange body. A good ol’ reliable.

Pours a nice thick yellow. Very nice aroma of citrus. Clera and typicale taste of a pale ale. Not much of an aftertaset though. Overall a very good beer.
