Pours a clear orange gold with a thick billowy golden white head. Aroma is piled high with candied pineapple, citrus and pine hops, with a thick backbone of clean malt, and a touch of toast. Medium bodied and sticky sweet, and a bit malty. Finishes with a light bitterness. Delicious. osu97gp (168), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 22, 2009 Can. Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus hops with some malts. Flavor starts malty and finishes moderately bitter with the hops. I like this one alot! Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Apr 22, 2009 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty strong of citrus hops with a nice blend of caramel malts. Flavor starts off with the caramel malts but finishes only slight bitter with the citrus and floral hops. Nice blended brew with a decent lingering flavor. drpimento (785), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2009 This is one helluva beer! Great earthy hops that are perfectly complemented with the malts. Not overdone. Just right. Yummmmmmm beernbourbon (230), chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 21, 2009 Thanks SoLan. Poured a little out to look at it, but drank it from the can otherwise. Great pale ale. Classic flavor and out of a can no less. Love it. Ceebs25 (217), Naperville, Illinois, USA Apr 20, 2009 12 oz can (Thanks Pawola22). Very full and hoppy aroma for an apa. Tons of bouquet floral and lemony citrus. Medium fruits, pale malt, and caramel malt in there as well. Quite stimulating smells. Light head on the pour, good retention though with no real lacing, medium bodied appearance with a bright yet fairly standard dark golden orange pale color. Definitely at the highest end for full bodied apas. Tons of hops that are slightly out of balanced in the scheme of this beer, but i really can’t complain about the big hop flavors, just not enough on the other side to back it up. It starts off hoppy and only picks up more chewy bitter as it goes. Pale and caramel malts are there, but mainly there is a lot of thick citrusy and earthy bitter, and melon fruits. Finish and linger is sticky and quite pleasant. I enjoyed this big full flavored apa as there’s alotta good things going on here. I’m liking how this brewery is thinking. MeisterBrew (138), Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA Apr 19, 2009 Can. Pours a clear golden-amber. Huge, fluffy tan head. Great lacing too. Aroma was of faint citrus. Flavor starts out very sweet and smooth. Ends with nice slight hoppy bitterness that lasts. Very thick and creamy mouthfeel. Good APA...
