Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

A honey amber colored brew that is sensually pleasing and refreshing, an added comfort is that it is packeaged for use in the great outdoors. The aroma is hoppy and enticing with a strong plesentation. The flavor is very hoppy and enjoyable. The beer is good on the palate and a great choice for fishing as I have found or any other outdoor activity

light copper chill haze pour with a small white head, cascade hops aroma , heavy on the hops for a pale ale but i like it. short bitter finish.

Had this beer on several occasions, always out of a can. I’m a fan of this beer and would love the opportunity to have on draft. A - Pours a pretty light amber/golden color. Small thin head but generous lacing down the glass. Lightly carbonated, but certainly not flat-ish. S - Nice aromas. It would be a brilliantly smelling beer is they aromas popped a little more (hence why I would love on draft with a bigger head/carbonation) but the flavors are very nice. Sweet citrus/floral with some malt/bready smells. T - Great tasting beer. Hops to malts to bitterness on the finish. Front hop flavors are floral/citrus, followed by malt/bready sweet flavors, and the finish leaves bitterness on the tongue. Excellent flavorful ale. M - Also, excellent. Full bodied for a Pale Ale making it a pleasure to drink. D - Very nice beer. With slightly higher carbonation, this Pale Ale would be hard to beat. Always a nice to drink and a very sessionable beer.

Can from Papago. Pours a dark orange color with a trim off-white head. Agressive with grapefruit and flour in the aroma. Tastes of each with plenty of salt and sourdough. Much closer to an IPA than a Pale, to me. A great beer with plenty of bite.

One of my favorite Pales. Bordering a dark IPA almost. Nice dark amber brown and I just love the cans. Aroma is sweet and a little bread and nice crisp hops, pine and citrus. Taste is balanced, some biscuit malts and piney hops and some fruit and citrus. Always good.

This copper ale poured with a decent beige head and a floral aroma from the finishing hops. The flavor is pale malt with fair amounts of citrus and hop bitterness.

Can. Pours a clear orange gold with a thick billowy golden white head. Aroma is piled high with candied pineapple, citrus and pine hops, with a thick backbone of clean malt, and a touch of toast. Medium bodied and sticky sweet, and a bit malty. Finishes with a light bitterness. Delicious.
