Apr 16, 2009 Rotating tap offering. $3.50 Pint ($2 happy hour) Worth every penny. Dale’s is a great American Pale.
Appearance is a bit cloudy with a nice fluffy head. Took a few ounces out of the pint but again, woth every penny.
Smell is big bold hops. Pine and citrus dominate.
Mouth is slghtly sticky and some malty sweetness. The same hop profiles round out the ballance.
Drinkability is, for me good. A little drier finish would make this perfect.
I will drink one per session until the tap is dry. Thats for sure.

Apr 14, 2009 Minimal head, but what was there was tan and sticky... atop a golden brown colored slightly hazy body. Aroma is very sweet and malty with a major dose of fruity citrusy hops. Flavors were very full-bodied and malty, with a huge burst of spicy, earthy, fruity hops. Pretty damn good stuff, I love that it comes it cans--makes it easy to bring some along when hiking!

Apr 13, 2009 Updated: Apr 22, 2009Pours a lacing off-white, almost beige, head with a golden amber body. Smells of citrus and spice hops with a mild sweetness. Tastes of spicy and citrus hops. Honey and bitter finish.

Apr 12, 2009 Pours a reddish amber with a large light brown head with pretty good staying power. This beer really grew on me. The first can was OK, but by the end of the sixer I was in love. It has a faint sweet, hoppy aroma and a very bold, full body. Nectar like, with lower than usual carbonation for the style. The flavor is sweet caramel that gradually fades to tropical and citrus fruits, then turns grassy and bitter in the end. Very well balanced and unique. Reminds me a little of Three Floyds Alpha King.

Apr 10, 2009 Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that lasts, and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is sticky and sweet with floral, citrusy hops. Taste is some caramel and grapefruit. Very drinkable. Good beer, thought it could be hoppier.

Apr 9, 2009 12oz can. Possibly one of the best beers I have tasted out of a can. It was a little on the sweet side for my tastes to rate it as high as everyone else here seems to be doing. Still very good. I look forward to using this as my beer of choice this summer at festivals that do not allow bottles.

Apr 9, 2009 pours a very pretty transparent reddish copper with a nice billowy white head. Aroma has a lot of orange peel, resinous notes, and a nice hop presence still nicely balanced by a very solid malt character. The flavor is excellent- the striking hops seem to come in two phases: one near the start, and one at the finish. Interspersed between those points are notes of sweetness, like honey and caramel, along with citrus. Palate is quite nice for the style, excellent APA.

Apr 9, 2009 Beautiful amber pour with vivacious lasting tight foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, sharp but welcome resin, and grassy hop notes. This brew has its bases covered with respect to hop facets, and balances it expertly with the slightest biscuity caramel. Flavor is incredibly balanced- starts out with powerful caramel and molasses with a hint of honey. Near the end the ho bite comes though with full force. Grassy, lemony, and powerful though quite manageable. Palate is velvety and rich. Best APA I’ve had to date.
