sickassmick (80), Concord, California, USA Jan 31, 2009 I kinda dig this new good beer in a can trend. I would feel like I wasted my money, however, if i drank this out of a can, but I think for freshness you can’t beat this container. I think a good beer needs to have your nose all in it. This one i poured and i have to say i’m really impressed. More like a lot of the IPA’s I’ve had. With a 6.5 ABV on a standard pale, I’m a little curious about how I’m going to get my hands on their IPA!! I bought their Irish style ale too. Bout to rate that one next. This one, though, is delicious. Clean sweet malt and good hops through the whole deal. Great clean stuff. Really good. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 30, 2009 On tap. Copper color. Clear-no head. Aroma of malts, hops, and caramel. Tastes of hints of caramel and hops. Nothing special, but no bad. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Jan 29, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Very nice, smooth pale. My 3rd Oskar Blues experience: all have been extremely positive. Smooth, fruity, dry, delicious pale ale. rosenbergh (843), Helsinki, Finland Jan 25, 2009 355 ml can. Finland. AW09.
Hazy amber colour.
Sweet hoppy aroma.
Flavour is sweet, hoppy and bitter. First APA in can I’ve ever seen. Nice surprise.

Aroma is citrusy hops and sweet bready malt. Flavor is again mostly hops, but with a very nice caramel malt backbone. Well balanced with a bitter finish. Medium bodied and super smooth.
