Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Pours a nice opaque orange with a surprisingly dense head for a canned beer. Very nice balance of citrus hops (some mandarin) and sweet caramel malts. It has a bready aftertaste that I love, and a very refreshing flavor with a thick mouthfeel. Entirely satisfying - I’m very impressed, even though there isn’t really anything special or extraordinary about it besides the novelty of the can. Will be trying to get my hands on more Oskar Blues very soon!

This was the first beer that got me interested in the brewery. Something intriguing about a microbrew in a can. A pretty gold-colored, light tasting American Pale. One of my favorites, although the novelty of the can may subconsciously factor in.

A very good pale ale and I love that it comes in a can. Can go places that most craft beers can’t. Pours a dark golden color with a two finger white head. Mildly hoppy, easy drinking, and a nice clean taste. Only had one, but seems like it would be a great session beer. Very enjoyable.

Can from City Beer Store in SF. A nicely done pale ale, maybe the best you’ll get out of a can. Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of C-hops as well as some malty sweetness. Flavor is sweet caramel malt and citrusy C-hops with a floral finish. I would like a little more sweetness to balance the hop bitterness, but it’s well-done overall. Nice on the palate, fairly full-bodied for the style.

Gingerman NYC draught. Clear and golden with a hint of orange. Nice delicate and laced head. A big american pale ale. I’m an IPA-man, but this is quite satisfying. Not over the top hoppy, just right and with a nice thick mothfeel.

Pours a clear golden amber with a minimal head... Medium hoppy nose, not overly aggresive in the way an IPA is... Mildly creamy upfront taste followed by a very hoppy finish... Excellent Pale Ale... Very easy drinking, im sure this beer would catch up on you in no time...

Can. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a nicely-sized off white head. Aromas are minimal, but have a nice mix of malt and citrus hops. Flavor is a nicely balanced combination of the same with a bit of a pine bite to the finish. Comes across as a fairly heavily hopped APA, maybe IPA would be a better category, but who am I to say. I could drink a lot of these.

I kinda dig this new good beer in a can trend. I would feel like I wasted my money, however, if i drank this out of a can, but I think for freshness you can’t beat this container. I think a good beer needs to have your nose all in it. This one i poured and i have to say i’m really impressed. More like a lot of the IPA’s I’ve had. With a 6.5 ABV on a standard pale, I’m a little curious about how I’m going to get my hands on their IPA!! I bought their Irish style ale too. Bout to rate that one next. This one, though, is delicious. Clean sweet malt and good hops through the whole deal. Great clean stuff. Really good.
